  The name Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry describes this dental practice to a “T.” If you are looking for a TRUE COSMETIC specialist, there are very few (if any) in the CT area with the training, experience, and Cosmetic Dental success stories that Dr. Peter Nelson can claim. I know— after much trial and disappointment, I found this practice, and it is no exaggeration to state his abilities changed my life. After being cancelled as a patient from my last dentist (I had the flu & cancelled a day before... so he dropped me!), I did some research and came across Dr. Nelson. I had “heard” he had perfected techniques that other dentists “claimed” abilities in — and that much of his work was actually redoing the failed cosmetic work these other dentists had performed. I had gotten braces at 28 years old - and then some “cosmetic adjustments” from my past dentist. The results were NOHING like I had hoped, and the experience was both costly and uncomfortable. So I was skeptical— because it all seemed too good to be true that someone of this caliber was right in Middletown —and because I was honestly “just short of petrified” to go to the dentist. Especially after my past experiences. One visit with Dr. Nelson changed that FOREVER! (I actually NOW look forward to going there, as the entire office treats patients like a celebrity!) Dr. Nelson not only miraculously recreated my entire smile, he also adjusted my bite and improved my dental health (and overall health) to a point where MANY things improved... INCLUDING my self confidence. I think my (and others) “before and after” photos on the ACD website say it all. (I just wish I met Dr. Nelson BEFORE I had gotten married... my wedding photos would be displayed instead of hidden today!!!) I know this may all come off as an extra-high level of praise... but I have spoken with many, MANY of other patients, and I know they ALL feel this way. I would offer anyone reading this the same advise I have strongly given to all me children, siblings, and best friends. Schedule a free consultation. The stuff you will learn, and the man you will meet, will forever change the way you feel about your dental situation. I really am smiling as I write this — because thanks to Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, I really and confidently CAN.
